King Edward I

1668. Edward I Longshanks King of²⁵ England (Henry III King²⁶, John (Lackland) King²⁷, Henry II King of²⁸, Geoffrey V²⁹ Plantagenet, Foulques V Le³⁰ Anjou, Foulques IV Count³¹) was born in Westminster, London, England June 17, 1239. Edward died July 7, 1307 in Burgh On The San, Cumberland, England, at age 68. His body was interred October 28, 1307 in Westminster Abbe, London, England.

He married twice. He married Leonor Princess of Castile after August 1254 in Burgos, Burgos, Spain. Leonor was born 1244 in Burgos, Burgos, Spain. Leonor was the daughter of Ferdinand III King of Castile and Joana de Dammartin Countess. Leonor died November 29, 1290 in Herdeby, Lincolnshire, England, at age 46. Her body was interred December 16, 1290 in Westminster Abbe, Westminster, Middlesex, Eng. He married Marguerite Princess of France September 8, 1299 in Canterbury Cathedral, Kent, England. Marguerite was born 1279 in Paris, Seine, France. Marguerite died February 14, 1317 in Marlborough Cast, Wiltshire, England, at age 37. Her body was interred in Grey Friars, London, Middlesex, England.

He was christened June 22, 1239 in Westminster, Middlesex, England. He possessed the characteristic rages, and the drooping left eyelid, inherited from his father and grandfather. He has been described as a fine warrior king, and was known as the "Hammer of the Scots."

Alphonso was born about 1262. She married Henry III Count Bar le duc September 20, 1293. Henry was born about 1262 in Bar Le Duc, Meuse, France.

1670 ii. Joan, Princess of England was born in Windsor Castle, Berkshire, England 1265. Her body was interred September 7, 1265 in Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berkshire, England.

1671 iii. John, Prince of England was born in Windsor Castle, Berkshire, England July 10, 1266. John, died August 1, 1272 at age 6.

1672 iv. Henry Prince of England was born in Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berkshire, England 1268. Henry died about October 14, 1274 at age 6. His body was interred October 20, 1274.

1673 v. Julian Or Katherine England was born in Holy Land, Israel 1271. Julian died 1271 at age unknown.

1674 vi. Joan of Acre England was born in Acre, Palestine 1272. Joan died April 23, 1307 in Clare, Suffolk, England, at age 34. She married twice. She married Gilbert de Clare Earl Glouchester May 1290 in Westminister Abb, Ey, London. Gilbert was born September 2, 1243 in Christchurch, Hampshire, England. Gilbert was the son of Sir Richard de Clare Earl Glouchester and Maud de Lacy. Gilbert died December 7, 1295 in Mammouth Castle, Eng, at age 52. His body was interred in Tewksbury Abbey. She married Ralph de Monthermer Baron Monthermer January 1296/1297. Ralph was born about 1275.

1675 vii. Alphonso, Prince of England was born in Bayonne, Basses Pyrenees, France November 24, 1273. Alphonso, died August 19, 1284 at age 10.

1676 viii. Isabel Princess of England was born about 1274. Isabel died in Infant, at age unknown.

1677 ix. Margaret, Princess of England was born in Windsor Castle, Berkshire, England September 11, 1275. Margaret, died 1318 at age 42. She married Jean II Duke Brabant July 9, 1290. Jean was born September 27, 1275. Jean was the son of Jean I Duke Brabant and Marguerite de Flanders. Jean died October 27, 1312 at age 37.

1678 x. Berengaria, Princess of England was born in Kennington, London, England 1276. Berengaria, died about 1277/1279 at age unknown.

1679 xi. Mary, Princess of England was born in Windsor Castle, Berkshire, England March 11, 1278. Mary, died before July 22, 1232 in Unmarried, at age unknown.

1680 xii. Alice, Princess of England was born in Woodstock, Oxford, Eng March 12, 1279. Alice, died 1291 at age 12.

1681 xiii. Elizabeth, Princess of England was born in Rhuddlan Castle, Flint, Wales August 7, 1282. Elizabeth, died May 5, 1316 in Quendon, Essex, England, at age 33. Her body was interred May 23, 1316 in Walden Abbey, Hertfordshire, England. She married twice. She married Humphrey VIII de Bohun November 14, 1302 in Westminster, London, England. Humphrey was born about 1276 in Pleshy Castle, Essex, England, Eng. Humphrey was the son of Humphrey VII de Bohun Earl of Hereford. Humphrey died March 16, 1321/1322 in Boroughbridge, York, England, at age 45. His body was interred in Friars Preachers, York, England. She married Jan I Count Holland November 14, 1302. Jan was born about 1280.

He married Mary Braose about 1328. Mary was born about 1297. Mary died June 11, 1362 at age 64.

+ 1565 xviii. Edmund Prince Plantagenet Earl of Kent was born August 5, 1301.

1685 xix. Eleonor Princess of England was born in Winchester, Hampshire, England May 4, 1306. Eleonor died 1311 at age 5.
