NO. 247 OF 1911, Will of James Caffrey, Deceased.
IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN. I, James M. Caffrey of the Borough of Sugar Notch, County of Luzerne, and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, but considering the uncertainty of life do make and publish this my last will and testament in the manner and form following, to wit:
First, I give, devise, and bequesth all my property, both real and personal of which I may die possessed, to my wife, Mary Caffrey, to her and her heirs and assigns forever.
Second, I hereby appoint as the executrix of this my last will and testament, my said wife Mary Caffrey, of the Borough of Sugar Notch aforesaid. In witness whereof I, James M. Caffrey, the testator, have to this my will, written on two sheets of paper, set my hand and seal this 18th day of February, A.D., One thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Signed, sealed, published, and declared by the above named James M. Caffrey, as and for his last will and testament, in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed at his request as witnesses thereto, in the presence of the said testator, and of each other.

This day before me Chas. B. Smith, Register of Wills, in and for the county aforesaid, personally came P.P. Kane and John P. Lenahan the subscribing witnesses to the above and foregoing last will and testament of James M. Caffrey late of the Borough of Sugar Notch, Luzerne County, and State of Pennsylvania, deceased, who being duly sworn according to law, do say that they were present, and saw and heard James M. Caffrey the testator, sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for his last will and testament, and that at the time of so doing he was of sound mind, memory and understanding, to the best of their knowledge and belief, and that they did sign their names as subscribing witnesses in the presence of each other, and in the presence and at the request of the said testator.

And Now to Wit, 15th day of April, 1911,, having considered the testimony offered in this case and filed the same of record, I do adjudge the foregoing writing to be duly proved as the last will and testament of the said James M. Caffrey now deceased, and as such I do enter the same of record according to law.

DATE OF DEATH: July 23rd, 1928.
I, Bridget C. Lenahan, of the Borough of Sugar Notch, County of Luzerne and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make this, my last will and testament in manner and form following:
I give, devise and bequeath unto my Brother, Phalom M. Lenahan, all my property, real, personal and mixed, of what kind soever, and wheresoever the same may be situate at the time of my death, to have and to hold he same absolutely,
And I do Make, constitute and appoint my said Brother Phalom M. Lenahan, sole executor hereof.
In Witness Whereof, I, Bridget C. Lenahan, Testatrix above named, have hereunto set my hand and seal this tenth day of April, A.D. 1928.

Finn and Edward McElwee, the subscribing witnesses to the above and foregoing last will and testament of Bridget C. Lenahan, late of the boro of Sugar Notch, Luzerne County and State of Pennsylvania, deceased, who being duly sworn according to law, do say that they were present, and saw and heard Bridget C. Lenahan, the testatrix, sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for her last will and testament and that at the time of so doing, she was of sound mind, memory and understanding, to the best of their knowledge and belief, and that they did sign their names as subscribing witnesses in the presence of each other, and in the presence and at the request of the said testatrix.

In accordance with the foregoing Will and Probate thereof, Letters Testamentary were on the 13th day of August, A.D., 1928, granted to Phalom M. Lenahan, the Executor named therein, he having been first duly sworn to well and truly administer the goods and chattels, rights and credits which were of the deceased according to law.
