Alva and Vina were my paternal grandparents. They signed their names as Alva and Vina but were always called Alvie and Vinie. Check out the hat that grandma has on!²

They were married Tuesday December 12, 1905 in Chillicothe, Linn County, Missouri.

The picture on the right was taken on the 50th Wedding Anniversary. I will eventually replace this image with a better one as I'm sorting through photos - this one comes out very fuzzy. This was an enlargement my mother did as a gift to my father. At the time of their anniversary, they were living in Altamont, Missouri.
