2236. Henry I Duke²⁸ Brabant (Godfrey III²⁹ Lothier, Godfrey II³⁰) was born in Brabant, Belgium 1160. Henry died September 5, 1235 at age 75.

He married Maud, D Alsace Duchess of Braba 1179. Maud, was born about 1163 in Boulogne, Pas De Calais, France. Maud, was the daughter of Matthieu D Alsace Count of Boulogn and Marie, Countess of Romsey mortain. Maud, died 1211 at age 48.

2237 ii. Godfrey de Brabant was born about 1186.

2238 iii. Marle de Brabant was born about 1188. Marle died January 21, 1253 at age 64.

2239 iv. Mary de Brabant was born about 1190. Mary died 1260 at age 70. She married twice. She married Otto IV Emperor Germany. Otto was born 1177 in Germany. Otto was the son of Heinrich V Duke Saxony and Matilda Princess England. Otto died May 19, 1218 in Dsp, at age 40. She married William Count of Holland 1220. William was born about 1188. William died February 4, 1223 at age 34.

2240 v. Margaret de Brabant was born about 1192. Margaret died September 21, 1231 at age 39. She married Gerard III Count Gueldress. Gerard was born about 1190. Gerard died October 22, 1229 at age 39.

2241 vi. Adelaide Alix de Brabant was born about 1194. She married three times. She married Arnold Count of Loss. Arnold was born about 1192. She married William Count of Auvergne. William was born about 1192. William died 1247 at age 55. She married Arnold Lord of Wessmael Marshal of Brabant. Arnold was born about 1192.

2242 vii. Daughter de Brabant was born about 1198.

+ 2052 viii. Mathilde of Brabant was born about 1200.
