2277. Baudouin IX Count²⁸ Flanders (Baldwin VIII²⁹ Hainaut, Baldwin IV³⁰ Hainault, Baldwin III³¹) was born in Hainaut, France July 1171. Baudouin died April 1206 at age 34.

He married Marie de Champagne 1186. Marie was born 1174 in Champagne, France. Marie was the daughter of Henri I Count Champagne and Marie Princess of France. Marie died August 29, 1204 at age 30.

Baudouin IX Count Flanders and Marie de Champagne had the following child:

+ 2046 i. Marguerite, Comtesse de²⁷ Flandre was born June 2, 1202.
