2440. Alice, Countess of²⁹ Champagne (Thibaud IV II³⁰, Estienne Henry Count³¹ Blois) was born in Blois, France about 1140. Alice, died June 4, 1206 in Paris, Seine, France, at age 65. Her body was interred in Pontigny Abbey, France.

She married Louis VII King of France November 13, 1160. Louis was born 1120 in France. Louis was the son of Louis VI King of France and Alix Countess of Savoy Queen of France. Louis died September 18, 1180 in Paris, Seine, France, at age 60. His body was interred in Barbeau. (See Louis VII King of France for the children resulting from this marriage.)
