He married Blanche Princess of Navarra February 4, 1151. Blanche was born about 1139 in Navarre, Spain. Blanche was the daughter of Garcias V VI Navarre King of and Marguerite de La Aigle. Blanche died August 12, 1156 in Castile, Spain, at age 17.
