2462. Alfonso VII, King of²⁹ Castile galicia (Raimond Count of³⁰ Burgundy, William I Count³¹, Renaud I Count³² Palatine) was born in Castile, Spain 1105. Alfonso died August 21, 1157 at age 52.

He married twice. He married Berenguela of Barcelona Queen of Castile 1124/1128 in Castile, Spain. Berenguela was born about 1105 in Barcelona, Spain. Berenguela was the daughter of Raimond Berenger IV, Barcelona and Dulce Aldonza Milhaud Countess. Berenguela died February 3, 1148 in Spain, at age 42. He married Rixa Richenza Poland Princess of 1152. Rixa was born about 1107. Rixa was the daughter of Vladislav II Poland King of and Sophia Agnes Germany Princess of. Rixa died before 1176 at age unknown.

Alfonso VII, King of Castile galicia and Berenguela of Barcelona Queen of Castile had the following children:

2463 i. Constance, Princess of²⁸ Castile Queen of France was born in Castile, Spain about 1133. Constance, died October 4, 1160 in Castile, Spain, at age 27. Her body was interred in St Denis, France. She married Louis VII King of France 1154 in Castile, Spain. Louis was born 1120 in France. Louis was the son of Louis VI King of France and Alix Countess of Savoy Queen of France. Louis died September 18, 1180 in Paris, Seine, France, at age 60. His body was interred in Barbeau. + 2443 ii. Sancho III, King of Castile was born 1135.

+ 2248 iii. Ferdinand II, King of Leon was born about 1137.
