He married Marie, Countess of Romsey mortain 1160. Marie, was born about 1131 in Blois, Loir Et Cher, France. Marie, was the daughter of Stephen King of England and Matilda, Queen of England. Marie, died 1182 in St Austrebert, Eure Et Loir, France, at age 51. Her body was interred in St Austrebert, Eure Et Loir, France.

She married three times. She married Renaud de Trie ComtedeDammartin. Renaud was born about 1159. She married Gerard II Countof Gueldres about 1181 in France. Gerard was born about 1159. Gerard died 1180 at age 21. She married Berthold V Duke Zahringen 1183. Berthold was born about 1159.

+ 2243 ii. Maud, D Alsace Duchess of Braba was born about 1163.
