1980. Hugh²⁷ Wake (Baldwin²⁸, Baldwin²⁹, Hugh³⁰, Geoffrey³¹ Wac) was born in Blisworth, North Hampshire, England about 1212. Hugh died 1241 in England, at age 29.

He married Joan de Stuteville before May 29, 1229 in Cottingham, Yorkshire, England. Joan was born about 1220 in Thetford, Norfolk, England. Joan was the daughter of Nicholas de Stuteville Lord Cottingham and Joan Peche. Joan died 1276 in Cottingham, Yorkshire, England, at age 56.

Hugh Wake and Joan de Stuteville had the following children:

+ 1814 i. Baldwin²⁶ Wake was born 1236.

1981 ii. Hugh Wake was born in Blisworth, Northampton, England about 1270. Hugh died May 31, 1315 at age 44.
