1521. Sir John²³ Giffard (Sir John²⁴, Sir John²⁵, Osbert²⁶, Elias Helias²⁷, Elias Helias²⁸, Elias Helias²⁹, Osborne Osbert Gyffarde³⁰, Osbert de³¹ Bolebec) was born in Twyford, Buckinghamshire, England, Eng 1301. John died January 25, 1368/1369 in England, at age 67.

He married twice. He married Lucy de Elmbrugge Morteyn. Lucy was born about 1305 in Tillsworth, Bedfordshire, England, Eng. Lucy was the daughter of Sir John de Morteyn and Joan de Rothwell. Lucy died after March 8, 1361 in England, at age 55. He married Alice Unknown. Alice was born about 1303. Alice died after July 30, 1379 at age 76.

Sir John Giffard and Lucy de Elmbrugge Morteyn had the following children:

1522 i. John²² Giffard was born in Twyford, Buckinghamshire, England about 1327. He married Alicia Nowers. Alicia was born about 1329.

1523 ii. Richard Giffard was born in Twyford, Buckinghamshire, England about 1331. He married Joan Unknown. Joan was born before 1384.

1524 iii. Nicholas Giffard was born in Twyford, Buckinghamshire, England about 1335. Nicholas died after 1373 at age unknown.

1525 iv. Gilbert Giffard was born in Twyford, Buckinghamshire, England about 1340. Gilbert died after 1372 at age unknown.

+ 1450 v. Sir Thomas Giffard was born about 1345.
