169. John⁷ Post (John⁸, Nathaniel⁹, Samuel¹⁰, John¹¹, Stephen¹², Abraham¹³, Thomas¹⁴, Peter Arnold¹⁵ Van Der Poest, Peter¹⁶ Post, Goosen¹⁷) was born in Norwich, New London, CT March 22, 1763.⁽¹²¹⁾ John died 1837 at age 74.

He married Nabbe Abigail Fitch March 13, 1788 in Norwich, New London, CT.⁽¹²²⁾ Nabbe was born August 4, 1757 in Norwich, New London, CT. Nabbe was the daughter of Ebenezer Fitch and Mary Huntington. Nabbe died March 1798 at age 40.

John Post and Nabbe Abigail Fitch had the following children:

170 i. Charles F.⁶ Post was born October 20, 1789. Charles died September 24, 1865 at age 75.

171 ii. Sarah B. Post was born February 14, 1793. Sarah died September 25, 1877 at age 84. John was reported lost at sea sometime in 1818.

172 iii. John F. Post was born October 26, 1794. John died 1818 at age 23.

+ 122 iv. Jabez Post was born August 8, 1796.
